For our CEO and founder Christopher Gonda, 1’s and 3’s have mattered his whole life. It’s a pattern he’s noticed forever.

For me, 13 got real when I realized the house numbers of my first and last home addresses added up to 13. That should’ve been a cute coincidence. Instead, it was the start of me noticing 13 showing up in a lot of places.

About ten years ago, I bought The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P. Hall because I wanted to go deeper into the occult. I own the book. I’ve lived with it. And the more I read and paid attention, the more patterns showed up.

Then I hit Hall’s explanation and it finally made sense: 12 is completion. It’s the “closed loop.” And 13 is what comes after. The break. The reset. The transition where something ends and something new starts.

That’s why 13 matters to us.

That same idea is what I’m building with Lowkey Hellish.
