Vita. Veritas. Vox Populi.

Welcome to V1LLAG3 Voice, the V13 Media Newsletter. Every Friday you’ll get our best music, entertainment, culture, and literature pieces: features, news, reviews, and more. C’est La V13.

I dropped everything this week.

The newsletter. The routines. The weekly review. The content schedule I'd been white-knuckling for months. All of it.

I've got a brain that treats every new project like a five-alarm fire and every existing commitment like wallpaper. I know this about myself. I've built systems to handle it: schedules, pipelines, reviews, the whole architecture. And for a while, it works. It always works for a while.

Then you're three months in and you realize you've been feeding the system instead of the thing the system was built to serve. Every morning looks productive. You're checking boxes. Keeping the streak. None of it is pointed at anything that still matters.

I know diversifying dilutes. I still do it. I know maintaining for the sake of maintaining is just a dressed-up version of avoidance. I still do that too. The difference this week is I actually stopped.

If your plan stopped fitting your life and you're still running it because stopping feels like failure: stop. Redraw. The plan serves you or it doesn't exist.

Let's get into it.
